Well,
Frances is the kind of dog that chases her own tail. Sometimes she
looks at her tail out of the corner of one of her eyes - sort of
like she is sneeking up on that tail - and then she looks away quick,
as though she's trying to fool the tail into thinking she's not
REALLY watching it. And then BOOM : she turns her head and jumps
to her side, trying to grab the tail in her mouth - but she never
quite gets to it, never quite reaches that tail. Somehow that tial
is always just one inch, just one hair ahead of her. And then, after
she has run around in several circles after her tail, she stops
abruptly & shakes her head, and this makes a big flapping sound
with her ears - she's made herself dizzy from all the running in
circles! And, of course, it is a little embarrasing to be caught
running after a tail! Sometimes I wonder if she knows it's HER own
tail!
