Goldee likes her space but is also very into me. That makes me feel special, like I'm in a balanced relationship. She is very nervous when I go into a store and she can't see me. I try to make it fast in there. I also try not to be too needy. She doesn't seem to like being energetically lavished with affection. She likes things slow and gentle. I have to control myself because sometimes I just want to squeeze her and she's actually quite delicate. I love how soft her fur is, especially because I like cats but I'm very allergic to them. She gives me a little bit of cat in the softness of her fur. She loves to listen to sounds and move her ears around in response. She understands english very well without my having taught her. Strange. Because I think her previous owners spoke mostly spanish. I say "get in the back" and she goes in the back of the car. I say " are you hungry?" and she prances into the kitchen. I say "what do you think I should do with my life?" and she just looks at me. I think that is the perfect answer.
